I like Shrek. Not Like Like SHREK, but the movie. Offcourse the cutest things in it are the Pusses eyes. So yesterday when I was searching for a new background for my laptop I came across this one;
I was perfectly fine for a day, but today I, God knows why, paused a little longer to observe the fur around the eyes and found it very well done. Good job Dreamworks. But there was another thing I noticed, which disturbes me still. If you watch the picture closly you can see there are letters in it's eyes! Holly crap, I never saw a subliminal message before. And it had to be that becouse when puss did the look they were in a forest and there should be reflections of trees in his eyes or shrek or donkey. But whatever is that in his eyes it's not the sorrounding. Watch the clip from the film:
The picture "is taken" from another angle. However it seems that they only mirrored it.

The difference in this one and the wallpaper should be due to different computer light settings. And of course the size. So I searched the net for a picture directly from film, bigger in size and resolution. I mirrored it and fixed the light and contrast and that's what came out:
And all I can say is, I think the message was added later on when they made the poster. And if not, than it's not a message that could be seen on screen. Probbably it was a joke of some kind or a sign of the autor. I don't blame him, that's one hell of a look:)
O.K. but my curiosity doesn't stop here.
Becouse I still don't know what it means. The reflection is, normally, different in both eyes. So we can figure out a little from both of them.
So here you go: (left)
And right:
1.The first word I think is R, even though it seems a P in the right eye. However it could be an 8 or B, too, according to the left eye, but than in the right I could only agree on R.
2. The second must be an F or an E. We cant see the bottom of e but could leave this option open.
3.I cant figure out nothing else but M.
4.The left reveels an A or an I, while the right could only be a I.
5.The last seems a V but as we can see only the top part it seems like an Y or an X. I would probably say it's an Y.
So what do we get? All options: RFMAY, RFMIY, RFMIX, RFMAX, REMAY, REMIY, REMAX, REMIX.
At this point I searched the net, and there is a form where they were discussing it:
They weren't much of a help, so I googled all the options.
RFMAY- RF May Company-Supplier of drapery hardware systems to rv, boat, and aircraft manufacturers. AND Rachel Fleming-May, Assistant Professor of information sciences.
RFMIY- nothing

REMAX- is an international real estate company. Written like this: RE/MAX. But ther is no / in the picture, but still there is a slighty larger space between E and M.
REMIX- an alternative version of a song, made from an original version.
This are the first results and I'm thrilled about REMAY:
HOWEVER, we all know that a message should be in reverse, seen in an eye. But there's the trick; the whole image (if we take it from the movie) is already mirrored, so the inscription should be allriht as it is. But if we take in consideration, that it was added later on than we should mirror it once again to be able to read the message. So..
What I could read aut of it was: YAN 79, YAN 78, or YIN ,YIM 78 or 79 and YAM. Or Y could be an X. Still I guess there is no place for an A inbetween Y and M...
I agin searched a little bit but couldn't find anything that makes sense. Something about Yin and Yang but nothing more...it could be a nickname, though.
I checked out the names of the crew but didn't find any that would ring a bell.
I finally tryed to turn the picture upside-down, but still nothing. It could be red BEWIX, or in reverse XIW 36, maybe.
Well, it seems I have nothing better to do than think about something that someone wrote for fun or mistake. Pityful.
So with this I conclude my reserch, only if I don't remember to try something else today and I leave you with whatever you choose to believe.
