Heaven's just a sin away

The next movie, recently impressed in my mind, is Inglourious Basterds by Quentin Tarantino. He must be a genius of some kind to combine tragedy and drama with humor. Or better said, irony. A colorfull grotesque. Troughout the movie there's always a presence of lightnes and the feeling theat the solution is around the corner, quite unpredictable and brilliant. The story is intense, atention-grabbing. We tend to be surprised how well planned it seems to be but reveals itself in a totally different light. It is never unbelievable, but rather realistic and 'simple'. Simple I say becouse it's easily refered to real life. That's what makes it so special; unpredictably simple. All thanks to a geniously trough and trough built under-story. The characters have tipically human features. They let their passions overtake them which leeds to their own end. They are revengeful, loyal, sometimes malicious and proud. It's a picturesque party with standing out individuals which enables us to asociate to them easily. It's a movie worth watching. Male or female, lover of war movies or not. It took me a year to convince myself to watch it, and I'm glad I did it.
